The Blend
Where Chaga Meets Cacao
Chaga and cacao form a rare synergy that has no analog in botanical blending. Chaga’s betulinic acid and dense polysaccharides act as a quiet shield against daily oxidative stress, building resilience in the background while you simply live your life.
“It eases tension and sharpens thoughts without caffeine’s edge: an invitation to unhurried reflection.”
Cacao’s theobromine (gentler and longer-lasting than caffeine) brings the mind into soft wakefulness without the spike and crash. Together, these two ancient foods create a cup that is simultaneously calming and clarifying, warming and wide-awake.
Lion’s mane weaves in neural nourishment for subtle clarity, while dandelion and chicory roots deliver prebiotic depth and gentle detox. This is not a tea you rush. It is a practice.
Chaga Mushroom
One of nature’s most potent antioxidant sources. Betulinic acid and beta-glucan polysaccharides support immune resilience, modulate inflammation, and provide an earthy mineral depth to the cup.
Cacao Nibs
Theobromine delivers sustained, gentle alertness: no spike, no crash. Phenylethylamine and magnesium uplift mood and ease muscular tension. The bitter-chocolate warmth anchors the entire blend.
Lion’s Mane Extract
Supports nerve growth factor synthesis. Used for centuries to nourish the mind during study and meditation. Subtle and cumulative: its effects deepen with consistent use.
Dandelion & Chicory Root
Prebiotic inulin feeds the gut microbiome while gently stimulating bile flow for liver support. They deliver coffee-like depth and roasted sweetness, an ideal caffeine-free morning brew.
What’s Inside
Every Ingredient, Intentional
All organic or wildcrafted. No fillers, no flavoring agents, no shortcuts.
Foundational
Inonotus obliquus
Antioxidant powerhouse. Betulinic acid and beta-glucans support immune resilience and reduce oxidative stress. Fruiting body only, no mycelium filler.
Foundational
Theobroma cacao
Gentle theobromine for sustained alertness. Magnesium for calm muscles and mind. Mood-supporting phenylethylamine. The soul of the blend’s warmth and depth.
Taraxacum officinale
Liver tonic and prebiotic source. Inulin feeds beneficial gut flora. Roasted flavor adds coffee-like depth. Rich in antioxidants and bitter digestive compounds.
Cichorium intybus
Prebiotic inulin supports gut microbiome diversity. Anti-inflammatory and antioxidant. Adds roasted sweetness that makes this blend deeply satisfying as a coffee alternative.
Astragalus membranaceus
Revered adaptogen in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Supports vascular integrity and immune tone. Mild natural sweetness rounds the earthier notes.
Matricaria chamomilla
Calming nervine. Balances the earthy intensity of mushrooms with gentle floral warmth. Supports restful digestion and eases tension held in the body.
Arctium lappa
Liver-supportive and gently detoxifying. Complements chaga’s earthy register. Traditionally used to normalize androgen metabolism and reduce inflammation.
Extract
Hericium erinaceus
Supports nerve growth factor synthesis. Cumulative neural nourishment for focus, memory, and clear thinking. Full-spectrum extract, not mycelium powder.
Cinnamomum verum
True Ceylon: gentle and sweet, not harsh. Adds warmth and subtle spice while supporting blood sugar balance. Lifts the heavier mushroom and root tones.
Elettaria cardamomum
Aromatic spice with digestive affinity. Its sweet, complex fragrance bridges the earthy mushrooms and bitter cacao, creating cohesion across the blend.
Citrus sinensis
A tart citrus lift that brightens the finish. Adds a note of lightness that keeps the deep, roasted profile from becoming too heavy on the palate.
The Ritual
Brewing With Intention
Moon Rock is built for slow mornings, quiet evenings, and any moment that calls for deliberate presence. Brew it as a ceremony, not just a cup.
01
Measure
Use 1–1½ tsp (2–3g) per 8 oz. For a bolder cup increase to 2 tsp. A french press works beautifully. It lets the roots and mushrooms steep fully without straining loose bits.
02
Water Temperature
Near-boiling, 205–212°F. Unlike delicate green teas, this blend opens fully with hot water. The cacao nibs and roots need heat to release their depth and sweetness.
03
Steep
7–12 minutes for a full infusion. Longer steeps bring the mushrooms and roots forward. Shorter steeps keep it lighter and more cacao-forward with brighter citrus.
04
Enhance
A splash of warm oat or coconut milk transforms it. A half-teaspoon of raw honey deepens the sweetness. A pinch of black pepper amplifies the adaptogenic compounds.
05
Re-Steep
The roots and mushrooms hold well for a second steep; add 2–3 minutes. A second cup is often mellower and more contemplative than the first.
